In Microsoft's 2025 AI Diffusion Report, Uzbekistan ranked 141st out of 147 economies for active AI user share (around 6.3%), though showing growth from 5.7% earlier in the year.
This highlights a gap between government readiness/strategy and actual widespread adoption, with leaders focusing on infrastructure and training.
Compared to leaders, Uzbekistan lagged far behind the UAE (64%) and Singapore (60.9%), where more than half of the working-age population actively use generative AI tools in their daily work.
