Uzbekistan imported a $447.7 million total worth of 37,874 electric vehicles between January and June 2026, the National Statistics Committee said in a report.

The total value of the imported electric vehicles came to.

That figure represents an increase of 23,500 units compared with the same period last year, meaning electric vehicle imports grew 2.6-fold year-on-year.

The vast majority of the electric vehicles came from China, which supplied 37,560 units to Uzbekistan over the six-month period.

Smaller quantities arrived from Hong Kong (141 units), South Korea (80), Germany (42), and the United States (21), while other countries accounted for a combined 30 vehicles.

The data point to a marked surge in electric vehicle imports in Uzbekistan during the first half of 2026.
