The first meeting of the Uzbekistan-Egypt business council will be held in Cairo, Dunyo reported. Online negotiations were organized between officials of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and the executive director of the Egyptian Business Association, Muhammad Yusuf, with the support of the diplomatic mission of Uzbekistan.

Today on February 8, Tashkent hosted the Uzbekistan-Slovenia business forum with the participation of senior officials of ministries, departments, industry associations and more than 100 representatives of businesses of the two countries.

Uzbek Ambassador Ulugbek Maqsudov met with director of Sitra textile company Omar al-Saqqaf in Jeddah, Dunyo reported. The parties discussed the ways to advance cooperation between the Uzbek and Saudi Arabian textile companies, the export of UZbe textile products to Saudi Arabia, and the establishment of a joint venture.

Prospects for the implementation of investment projects were discussed at the Ministry of Investment with Erlendur Svavarsson, vice president of the Icelandic company Loftleiðir.
