Inflation rate in Uzbekistan in 2025 reached 7.3%, lower than the 9.8% the year before, the National Statistics Committee. Reportedly, this is the lowest rate in the past nine years (in 2023, it was 8.8%).

In December, inflation was 0.9% (0.7% in November, 1% in December 2024). Average monthly inflation last year was 0.6%, down from 0.8% in 2024.

Excluding changes in fruit and vegetable prices, inflation for the year was 7.9% (12% in 2024), and 0.4% in December (0.7% in December 2024).

Grocery prices increased by an average of 5.5% year-on-year (2.4%), and by 1.5% in December (1.8% in December 2024). Non-food prices increased by 5.1% year-on-year (7.7% in 2024), and by 0.3% month-on-month (0.4%). Prices for services increased by 13.9% year-on-year (26.7% in 2024), and by 0.7% in December (the same as December 2024).
