Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a Measures To Further Develop Uzbekistan’s Tourism Sector decree introducing 30-day visa-free travel for the citizens of the following 20 countries from January 1, 2020:
- Antigua and Barbuda;
- Bahamas;
- Barbados;
- Belize;
- Costa Rica
- Cuba Grenada;
- Dominica;
- Dominican Republic;
- El Salvador;
- Grenada;
- Guatemala;
- Honduras;
- Jamaica;
- Mexico;
- Nicaragua;
- Panama;
- Saint Vincent and the Grenadines;
- Saint Lucia;
- Saint Kitts and Nevis
- Trinidad and Tobago.
Currently, Uzbekistan has a visa-free regime with 85 countries. Also, citizens of 77 countries can use the e-visa. In addition, 5-day visa-free transit has been established since July 2018 for the citizens of almost 100 countries.
