Serial assembly of LADA cars has begun at the ADM Jizzakh at the Jizzakh free economic zone "". The first models produced by the SKD method were LADA Vesta SW and LADA XRAY, with LADA Largus to be added to them soon, Roodell, the official importer of LADA told the Tashkent Times.
The production has been adjusted taking into account all the requirements of AvtoVAZ for equipment, technological processes and quality control. More than 200 new jobs have been created for the project. The staff underwent the necessary training, the company underscored.
“Local assembly will make LADA cars more affordable, first of all, thanks to credit programs and Trade-in,” the company noted.
In 2020, more than 5,000 LADA vehicles were sold through the Roodell dealer network, which includes 18 dealerships in Uzbekistan.
