Footage surfaced online in which a teacher, during a lesson, first beats one of the students, and then severely beats another school student, yeling at her. The girl sits down at her desk, but the teacher continues to beat her.
According to the Khorezm province Department of Preschool and School Education, the incident took place at a Khanka district school. The department said it had launched a probe. The ministry clarified the incident occurred on February 23.
The press service of the General Prosecutor's Office reported that police department was conducting a pre-investigation probe on this fact, and the province’s prosecutor's office has taken the oversight of the situation. A forensic medical examination has also been ordered to identify the victim’s injuries.
