The first regular flight of LOT Polish Airlines to Tashkent took off from Warsaw airport on March 13 at 22:55. A Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft of LOT Polish Airlines landed in the capital of Uzbekistan at 9:00 AM local time. The flight time was 6 hours, the Uzbekistan Airports said in a statement.

The reception ceremony of the new flight at Tashkent International Airport was attended by the director of the airport Jasur Pulatov, the general director of Polish Airlines Michał Fijoł, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Poland Amirsaid Agzamkhodjaev, the Ambassador of Poland to Uzbekistan Radoslaw Gruk, officials of the Ministries of Transport and Culture and the Committee of Tourism of Uzbekistan, as well as journalists and bloggers from both countries.

“Uzbekistan is one of the most intriguing countries in the world and has a lot to offer to passengers from Poland and Europe. I am convinced that the opportunity to reach the heart of Central Asia in comfort on board our aircraft will create potential for further boosting tourism and economic cooperation between Poland and Uzbekistan. From Warsaw Chopin Airport, which is a convenient transit point, passengers from Tashkent can reach almost 80 cities in Europe or North America available on our route network,” said LOT Polish Airlines CEO Michał Fijoł.

The Tashkent-Warsaw-Tashkent flight will be operated three times a week - on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays on Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft.
