Civil Aviation Agency granted permit for flights to Kazakh Qazaq Air, the press service of Agency said. The permit was issued on March 13. The carrier will operate flights on the route Turkestan to Samarkand flight on a BC DHC-8−402 aircraft.

The airline announced plans to launch direct flights between the said two cities at the end of February.

The cost of a one-way ticket starts from 25 thousand tenge (706 thousand soums at the Central Bank exchange rate as of March 16).

Qazaq Air is a regional airline founded in 2018 and owned by the Samruk-Kazyna national wealth fund headquartered at Astana Airport. It mainly flies to Russia.
