President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed decree making changes in the top management of the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Energy said.

Azim Akhmedkhadjaev, who has been working as First Deputy Minister of Energy since August 2021, became the new director of Uzatom, replacing Bakhram Mansurov, who left the position due to being transferred to another job.

While, Bakhtiyor Mamatkarimov was appointed as another first deputy minister of energy. Before that, he worked as mayor of the Andijan district, deputy chairman of the board of Uztransgaz for finance and marketing, as well as deputy head of Uzlitineftgaz for economic and finance matters.

Azizkhuzha Kobilov was appointed Deputy Minister of Energy. Before that, he worked as an adviser and deputy minister of mining and geology, and was previously an employee of the Presidential Administration.
