The Cabinet issued the Additional Measures to Improve Labor Migration Processes resolution Tuesday. According to the resolution, starting from September 1, 2025, individuals who have been deported for violating the laws of foreign countries, and those whose actions negatively impact Uzbekistan’s international image and reputation, will have their records registered in the Unified Electronic Database on Migration Processes.
The following sources will contribute information to this electronic registry:
- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through its diplomatic missions and consulates;
- The Ministry of Internal Affairs, with records on individuals readmitted under international agreements;
- The Agency for External Labor Migration and its representative offices abroad.
In accordance with international treaties and the regulations approved by the president’s Procedure for Citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Travel Abroad Decree, the above individuals will see their applications for international passports rejected for a period of two years.
Exceptions will be decided by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
