Fire broke out at an Auto Repair in Asaka district of Andijan province. According to the spokesman to the Prosecutor General's Office, Khayot Shamsutdinov, one person died and one person sustained serious bodily injuries in the fire.
A video footage of the major fire surfaced on social networks. It reported that the fire occurred in a house where car parts were being welded.
Reportedly, the Labo mini-van located inside the repair room burned down completely.
A criminal case has been opened under the Violation of fire safety rules charge of the Criminal Code with investigation underway.
