The defense minister, the Lieutenant General Shukhrat Kholmukhammedov held bilateral meetings with the defense ministers of the Central Asian countries.
During the talks, the parties discussed the ways to expand military cooperation, improving the joint training system, establishing exchanges of experience and practical knowledge, and to implement joint initiatives in the area of regional security.
The meetings was primarily aimed ta developing practical cooperation that would serve to ensure peace, unity and sustainable development in the Central Asian region.
With his counterparts he also reached agreements on the development of bilateral military and military-technical cooperation, strengthening mutual understanding in the fight against international terrorism, ensuring regional security, and strengthening an environment of trust and stable cooperation between the countries.
