108 coronavirus cases were officially confirmed in Uzbekistan on Saturday, June 18, the Ministry of Health said. Steady increase in cases has been observed since Monday, when about 40 cases were detected, with 90 cases confirmed on Friday.
85 out of 108 cases on Saturday were confirmed in Tashkent, 10 in Tashkent province. Four cases were detected in the Bukhara province, three each in Jizzakh and Andijan.
The total score of cases officially confirmed since mid-March 2020 is currently 239,633.
No deaths from the effects of COVID-19 have been reported for several months. The total number of officially registered deaths stands at 1,637.
