Head coach of Uzbekistan national team Srečko Katanec announced the squad for the CAFA Nations Cup. Abduqodir Husanov and Abbasbek Fayzullaev, who were part of the U20 Uzbekistan at the U20 World Cup received a call-up from the senior national team.

The 2023 CAFA Nations Cup will be the 1st edition of the CAFA Nations Cup, the biennial international men's football championship of Central Asia organized by Central Asian Football Association (CAFA). The event will be held in Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan from June 10 to 20.

Group A: Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Oman;

Group B: Kyrgyzstan, Iran and Afghanistan.
