On November 4 the coach of Uzbekistan national football team, Samvel Babayan announced the squad for the November 15 match against South Korea in matchday 5 of the third qualifying round of the World Cup 2018.

Uzbekistan with 9 points is second in Group A behind Iran, and South Korea is third with 7 points.

Uzbekistan squad:

Goalkeepers: Aleksandr Lobanov (Pakhtakor), Ignatiy Nesterov ( Lokomotiv), Eldor Suyunov (Nasaf).

Defenders: Islom Tuhtahodzhaev (Lokomotiv), Egor Krimets (Beijing Guoan F.C., China), Vitaliy Denisov (Lokomotiv, Russia), Davron Hashimov (Pakhtakor), Otabek Shukurov (Bunyodkor), Anzur Ismailov (Changchun Yatai, China), Stanislav Andreev (Pakhtakor).

The youth team players Oston Urunov and Jasurbek Yahshiboev will also take part in the training of the national team.

Before the South Korea encounter Samvel Babayan’s men on November 10 at 17:00 will play a friendly with Jordan at Pakhtakor stadium. The teams played 11 head-to-heads with Uzbekistan winning five, drawing five and losing one encounter.
