Uzbekistan to play against Kazakhstan for first time since 2007 - Tashkent Times

The Uzbekistan national team will play a friendly match with Kazakhstan in March 2020, the Uzbekistan head coach announced in the mixed zone after home win against Palestine Tuesday.

The match will serve as preparation for the away match against Yemen on March 31 in the second qualifying round of the Qatar 2022 World Cup. The last match between the neighbours took place in 2007 in Kazakhstan’s Shymkent.

There’s only ever been six meetings between the pair, with Uzbekistan winning two, losing one and on three draws.
