The President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed his sincere condolences to the President of Russia Vladimir Putin on the death of the Russian Ambassador in Turkey Andrey Karlov, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

The President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed condolences to Turkey in connection with the terrorist attack in Kayseri province.

At the initiative of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev a telephone conversation with President Nursultan Nazarbayev Kazakhstan was held.

Twleve people were killed and 22 were injured in a road accident with a bus and truck in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District. The accident occurred on the Tumen-Khanty-Mansiisk federal highway, 31 km from Khanty-Mansiisk. There were 34 people in the bus.

The United States and the Central Asia countries will hold a meeting in C5+1 format, Mark Toner, the US State Department deputy spokesman said.

The Interim President Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent condolences message to the President of India Pranab Mukherjee after train derailment near Kanpur (Uttar Pradesh) caused loss of lives.

The United Nations’ (UN) World Television Day is annually observed in many places around the world on November 21. The UN recognizes that television plays a major role in presenting different issues that affect people.

The Interim President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on November 10 congratulated the president-elect of the United States of America Donald Trump on convincing presidential election victory, an Uzbek Foreign Ministry statement said. 

Green spaces such as parks and sports fields as well as woods and natural meadows, wetlands or other ecosystems, represent a fundamental component of any urban ecosystem.

A square in downtown Moscow, situated in the vicinity of the Uzbekistan’s consulate and guest house in Yakimanka area will be named after the First President of Uzbekistan.
