During the first quarter of 2026 (January–March), the total volume of market services provided in Uzbekistan reached 293.6 trillion soums, the National Statistics Committee said in a report.

Data reveals that the city of Tashkent accounted for nearly 40% of the country's entire market service volume. During the reporting period, the capital city generated 117.3 trillion soums worth of market services.

Among the country's provinces, the next highest figure following Tashkent was recorded in the Samarkand province, where the volume of market services reached 21.6 trillion soums. Meanwhile, the Tashkent and Fergana provinces posted identical figures, each generating 19.8 trillion soums.

Namangan province recorded 14.8 trillion soums in market services, followed by Andijan province with 14.4 trillion, Kashkadarya province with 14.1 trillion, Bukhara province with 11.7 trillion, and Khorezm province with 10.3 trillion soums.

Surkhandarya province posted a market services volume of 9.7 trillion soums, Karakalpakstan — 9.3 trillion, Navoi province — 7.1 trillion, and Jizzakh province — 6.8 trillion soums. The lowest figure was recorded in Sirdarya province, where market services amounted to 3.9 trillion soums.

For context, Uzbekistan's services market grew by 14.7 percent in 2025, with the total volume of market services rendered over the January–December period reaching 1.05 quadrillion soums.
