A video has surfaced on social media showing a Damas minivan dragging a dog tied to its rear bumper. The incident took place in the Kamashi district of the Qashqadaryo province.
According to the Qashqadaryo province police department, the incident occurred on July 24 at approximately 1:18 PM within the Quyi Yangi neighborhood area.
Law enforcement officials stated that a local resident, identified as D.T., was driving his Damas along a section of the 4R70 Karshi–Shahrisabz highway in Kamashi district when he spotted a dead dog on the roadside. He then tied the animal's body to the back of his vehicle and dragged it down the road.
The scene was noticed by the driver and passengers of a Nexia-3 traveling toward the city of Karshi. They pulled the Damas driver over, confronted him over his disturbing actions, and demanded an explanation.
Following the investigation, administrative charges have been filed against D.T. under Article 111 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility for animal cruelty. The case files have been forwarded to the district criminal court for a hearing.
