During his visit to the city of Cholpon-Ata, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, alongside the heads of state of Central Asia and Azerbaijan, attended the grand opening ceremony of Kyrgyzstan's first international-class golf club.
The presidents toured the complex to inspect its modern sports and tourism infrastructure. Officials noted that the premier golf club will serve to popularize the sport and significantly boost regional sports tourism.
The visiting heads of state congratulated Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov and the people of Kyrgyzstan on the opening of the new facility, wishing the country success in executing future projects aimed at elevating its tourism potential.
As part of the official itinerary, Shavkat Mirziyoyev was also honored with the Order of Manas (First Class). President Sadyr Japarov personally presented Kyrgyzstan's highest state decoration to the Uzbek leader.
