An Isuzu truck and a Chevrolet Epica sedan were completely destroyed by fire following a collision on the Kamchik Pass.
According to the Road Safety Service, the incident occurred at around 8:20 AM on August 2 along the A-373 highway. An Isuzu truck traveling in the Tashkent-Fergana Valley direction pulled over onto the shoulder at the 168-kilometer mark due to a mechanical malfunction.
Moments later, the driver of a Chevrolet Epica traveling along the same route lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the back of the parked truck. The impact triggered a major fire that completely engulfed both vehicles. Eyewitness footage of the blazing inferno has since widely circulated on social media.
The driver and passenger of the Epica sustained minor injuries but managed to escape the vehicle just before it caught fire. Emergency responders arrived quickly at the scene to administer immediate first aid.
