A dedicated mobile app for buying suburban train tickets has been developed in Uzbekistan, the press service of Uztemiryolyolovchi, the government body responsible for passenger rail services said.
The app is designed to simplify and speed up ticket purchases for passengers, the operator said.
Users can select a route, check train schedules and buy tickets online through the app.
It can be downloaded on Android and iOS devices.
It was previously reported that the Tashkent–Nukus high-speed train service is due to begin operating in March next year.
