Foreign Affairs Ministries of Uzbekistan and Serbia held consultations via conference call. During the talks, the parties exchanged views on the current state of bilateral ties and prospects for cooperation in trade-economic, investment and IT areas.
They focused on deepening economic diplomacy by establishing and expanding direct relations between businesses of the two countries, implementing joint investment projects making use all opportunities.
During the consultations, the issues of expanding the contractual and legal framework of Uzbekistan-Serbia cooperation through relevant and practical documents in the trade and economic sphere were also discussed.
In order to bolster the business ties, the parties agreed to hold an Made in Uzbekistan exhibition in Belgrade in 2023, to organize a Serbian trade mission to Uzbekistan to attend large textile and food exhibitions and to explore the ways to set up an Uzbek-Serbian trade house.
