Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov hosted the First Deputy PM of Uzbekistan, Chairman of Uzbekistan Railways, Ochilboy Ramatov.
The sides exchanged views on the prospects of bilateral cooperation in the trade, economic, transport, energy and other sectors and noted the existence of broad prospects for further expanding effective cooperation. The high-level accords, in particular the state visit of the Turkmen President to Uzbekistan in April gave a new impetus.
The sides also stressed the importance of promoting good neighborly and humanitarian ties. Interstate cooperation in the field of science and education, in particular through higher education institutions supported by relevant documents.
