Four members of a family died from carbon monoxide poisoning in the Yangi-Namangan district of Namangan province on the night of December 15-16, the Prosecutor General's Office said.

M. Mukhiddinov, 48, his wife K. Kazakova, 41, their children M. Makhamadkhuzhaeva, 19, and the minor Kh. Makhammadova, 14, lived in the Beruniy neigbourhood.

It became known that family members connected a factory Iranian stove through a gas stove with a rubber hose, from which carbon monoxide leaked.

Forensic and other relevant examinations have been ordered to establish the cause of death of family members.

The district prosecutor's office is conducting pre-investigation actions.
