Policeman of an Almazar district neighborhood in Tashkent set up a drug lab in a house given to him by the state, according to the press service of the State Security Service (SSS) said.

The operational search of his house found 10.5 kg of the synthetic drug Alpha-PVP, 4 grams of Spice, 588 grams of a liquid used in drug production, as well as equipment and electronic scales, were discovered and seized as evidence.

Furthermore, the search of the man’s permanent residence in Tashkent District discovered a narcotic substance Alpha-PVP weighing approximately 430 grams hidden in the ground.

Reportedly, the officer, acting on directives from the owner of a Telegram profile, received synthetic drugs smuggled into the country from drug couriers, processed them in an underground lab, and sold them.

A criminal case has been opened against him under the part 2 of Article 246 through the Article 28 (Complicity in the smuggling of nuclear, chemical, biological and other types of weapons of mass destruction, materials and equipment, radioactive materials that can be knowingly used in their creation, as well as narcotic drugs, their analogues or psychotropic substances, in large quantities) and the clause 5 of Article 273 through Article 25 (Preparation for illegal sale of narcotic drugs, their analogues or psychotropic substances in large quantities) of the Criminal Code.
