By the July 10 presidential decree, Sardor Umurzakov has been appointed Director of the Strategic Development and Reforms Agency, replacing Abdulla Abdukodirov due to his transfer to another job. He had been serving in this role since May 2025.
In connection with this appointment, he has been relieved of his duties as Advisor to the President on Strategic Development. This advisory position has also been abolished.
Sardor Umurzakov had been serving as Advisor to the President on Strategic Development since July 2025. Prior to that role, he served as the Advisor to the President on Special Directives.
