The minister of sports , Shoakrom Kholmatovich Isroilov, left this post, sources in the government told The Tashkent Times. Shoakrom Isroilov, who was in charge of the new ministry since February, bid farewell to the team on Wednesday. What new role he was given is not yet known.
Deputy Minister Oybek Omilovich Kasymov is temporarily acting as the minister.
The ministry was created in place of the Committee for Sports in the early 2018.
