Uzbekistan PM Abdulla Aripov will pay a working visit to Cholpon-Ata (Kyrgyzstan) on August 15-17 to participate in the meetings of two intergovernmental commissions:  i)on bilateral cooperation and ii) on  delimitation and demarcation of the Uzbek-Kyrgyz boundary.

Uzbek PM discussed the preparations for the meetings with Kyrgyz counterpart Sooronbay Jeenbekov  over the phone yesterday, the Kyrgyz government portal said.

PM Aripov also confirmed the readiness to hold the Uzbek Culture Days in Kyrgyzstan in October. He also thanked the Kyrgyz authorities for their quick response in providing assistance to Uzbek nationals who were injured in a car accident on August 3 near Issyk-Kul.

Sooronbay Jeenbekov , in turn, expressed gratitude to the Uzbek PM for the decision to build a high school in Osh for 630 pupils.
