Uzbekistan is set to host the International Festival of Fine and Applied Arts from April 20 to 24. The festival’s program promises a vibrant celebration of creativity, featuring exhibitions by both local and international masters, fashion showcases, hands-on workshops, and collaborative creative sessions. This year’s event boasts an impressive global reach, with participants arriving from China, South Korea, Russia, Turkey, France, and beyond.
The artistic exchange will highlight diverse perspectives: students from South Korea’s Keimyung University and China’s Lanzhou University and Institute of Fine Arts will showcase their curated works; Turkish artist Burcu Günay will present paintings that explore the frontiers of contemporary art; and French photographer Eric Gourlan will offer a poignant narrative on the Aral Sea crisis through his lens.
A key highlight of the event is the 26th gathering of TURKSOY creative figures, marked by the opening of a major international exhibition. Organized by the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan, the festival’s extensive program will unfold across eight venues in Tashkent, as well as throughout Karakalpakstan and the nation's provinces.
