The National Statistics Committee has published a list of the countries most visited by Uzbek citizens traveling abroad for tourism.
According to official data, 5.3 million Uzbek citizens went abroad as tourists in the first eight months of 2026, up by 109,900 from the same period of 2025.
Kyrgyzstan was the most popular destination, with 2,427,526 Uzbek citizens visiting in January-August, nearly half of all foreign trips. Kazakhstan ranked second with 955,829 visitors, followed by Tajikistan with 876,650.

The top three spots went to countries bordering Uzbekistan. More than 4.26 million Uzbek citizens traveled to Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan combined, accounting for about 80% of all tourist trips abroad.
Among longer-haul destinations, Russia, Turkey and Saudi Arabia led the way. The UAE, China, Egypt and Vietnam also made the top 10.
