The aviation fuel refueling complex at Tashkent Airport has been put up for sale, the Agency for Management of State Assets announced.
The facility is located on Qumariq Street in Sergeli district and spans 11 hectares of land, with buildings and structures covering 6,076 square meters; the site is connected to gas, water and electricity networks. Ernst & Young has been brought on as a consultant to help ensure the privatization process runs efficiently.
The privatization is open to both local and international bidders and will proceed in two stages:
- Expression of Interest (EoI);
- Binding Offer (BO).
All bids will be vetted against a set of criteria, including whether bidders have sufficient financial resources and comply with anti-money laundering legislation. Prospective buyers must demonstrate adequate financial resources to purchase the asset.
Neither the applicant nor any related parties may appear on sanctions lists maintained by the European Union, the United States, or major international financial institutions such as the World Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, or the Asian Development Bank.
Bids will be accepted through 11:59 p.m. Tashkent time on October 23.
