Julio Iglesias will start off his new 75th anniversary and jubilee world tour with performance at the Tashkent's Xalqlar Do'stligi (Peoples' Friendship) Palace on September 10th. Then he will continue in the United Arab Emirates with two concerts at the Dubai Opera House, on October 1st and 2nd, in Tel Aviv (at the Nokia Arena, on Oct. 6th) and in Moscow (at the Kremlin, on Oct. 17th).

Famous filmmaker Shukhrat Abbosov died on Wednesday in Tashkent aged 87, the government hospital No1, where he was hospitalized the day before, said.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev today visited the Suzuk-Ota mausoleum on February 9, 2018, the President’s press service reported.

Kuwait city will host the Days of Uzbek Culture from December 15 to 22, the Uzbek ministry of culture said. The events will be opened with a concert, also featuring exhibitions of national applied arts and photographs, presentation of Uzbekistan’s tourist potential and sights, round table, master classes and other events.

Tashkent’s UzExpoCentre will host the annual Tashkent International Tourism Fair (TITF) -Tourism on the Silk Road 2017 from October 3-5. The Fair is Uzbekistan’s main tourism eventб which has been held annually since 1994 and is rightfully recognized by the international tourist community as the landmark event in the global tourist exhibitions calendar.

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev delivered an opening speech at the Sharq Taronalari music festival in Samarkand, the Presidency website said.

The delegation of Uzbekistan led by the Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov visited the National Museum of India in New Delhi on Monday, the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.
