On May 16, 2017, at the Uzbek Foreign Ministry was held a meeting with the delegation of the Russian Federation headed by the Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration for Interregional and Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries Sergei Chebotarev.

Starting from 2017 Uzbekistan's annual Hajj quota increased from 5200 to 7200, a statement of the Committee for Religious Affairs of Uzbekistan said.

Young Uzbek designers’ show- #beyoung was held on November 23 in Kamolot Palace as part of the Tashkent fashion week. Today’s show saw 44 collections of 76 designers selected from 200 candidates from among students and young designers.
