“Caravan on the Silk Road” sculptural composition has been erected in Tashkent’s Chilanzar district at the entrance to the city, Nuz.Uz reported.

According to UzbekKino (transl. Uzbek Cinema), Fotih Jalalov has been appointed interim Director of UzbekFilm (transl. Uzbek Movie), the national film studio.

Tashkent’s UzExpoCentre will host the annual Tashkent International Tourism Fair (TITF) -Tourism on the Silk Road 2017 from October 3-5. The Fair is Uzbekistan’s main tourism eventб which has been held annually since 1994 and is rightfully recognized by the international tourist community as the landmark event in the global tourist exhibitions calendar.

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev delivered an opening speech at the Sharq Taronalari music festival in Samarkand, the Presidency website said.
