The international wanted notice for Ravshan Muhitdinov, an entrepreneur residing in Turkey, has been officially rescinded. Following an extensive investigation, the Ministry of Internal Affairs announced that the allegations against Muhitdinov, popularly known as Ravshan The Golden Boy, could not be substantiated. The name of the 37-year-old businessman had previously appeared on Interpol’s website in April.
During a press conference, the Ministry of Internal Affairs clarified the reasons behind the cancellation of the international search warrant.
Responding to a reporter's inquiry, Dilmurod Mirsodiqov, Deputy Chief of the Tashkent City Police Department, stated that the charges against Muhitdinov were ultimately unproven.
"A criminal case was initially launched regarding the matter in 2021, and an international wanted notice was issued for Ravshan The Golden Boy, As time passed, the segment of the criminal case pertaining to him was dropped due to the expiration of the statute of limitations. However, after further investigative proceedings, additional complaints were filed against him, prompting authorities to intensify the search. Ultimately, following a comprehensive review of all investigative findings, his guilt could not be proven, and the wanted notice was rescinded," Mirsodiqov explained.
Ravshan Muhitdinov’s name emerged on Interpol’s Red Notice list in April. The charges leveled against him at the time included intentional destruction of or damage to property, creating or participating in an organized armed group, leadership of a criminal enterprise, and criminal damage.
