6,565,410 foreign nationals visited Uzbekistan for tourism purposes during the first half of this year, the National Statistics Agency said in a report.
In total, nationals from 205 countries traveled to the republic during this reporting period.
A gender breakdown of the visitors reveals that 3,627,564 were men, while 2,937,846 were women.
When analyzed by age demographics, travelers aged between 31 and 55 made up the largest share of arrivals, with the number of guests in this bracket reaching 3,390,402.
The remaining age groups were distributed as follows:
- 0–18 years old: 777,620 visitors
- 19–30 years old: 1,089,647 visitors
- 56 years old and above: 1,307,741 visitors
The data highlights that a substantial majority of the foreign tourists choosing to visit Uzbekistan belong to the economically active and dynamic working-age population.
