Three men who had sexual intercourses with a 14-year-old schoolgirl in Tashkent have been released on parole. The incident occurred on April 27, 2021, when a physical education teacher at a Tashkent school “lured his student into a previously rented apartment to where he also invited two friends.”

“They arranged a game of spin the bottle, and then persuaded the girl to have sex. Since she did not resist, the crime was qualified not as a gang rape, but under Article 128 of the Criminal Code “Engagement in sexual intercourse with a person under 16 years of age”. The girl’s mother lost the appeal,” the message says.

Reportedly, two of the convicts were imprisoned for only six months, and the initiator, a former physical education teacher at the school, was released 12 months after imprisonment. One of the convicts is now working as a registrar at a medical center, where, among other things, they serve children.

By the decision of Zangiata District Court for Criminal Cases dated May 7, 2022, the unserved part of the sentence for a period of 2 years 11 months and 27 days of imprisonment was replaced by corrective labor with a deduction of 20% of the monthly salary in favor of the state for this period.

An acquaintance of the teacher B. G., 29, in November 2021 was sentenced to 2 years in prison under Engaging in sexual intercourse with a person under the age of 16. On May 12 this year, the Almalyk City Court for Criminal Cases replaced the unserved part of the sentence with correctional labor for a period of 1 year 5 months 29 days with a deduction of 20% of the salary to the state income.

Another accomplice M. M., 28, was sentenced to 2 years in prison under part 1 of article 128 of the Criminal Code.
