At first, the victim was silent, but a medical examination initiated by a social worker discovered the incident and prompted an investigation.
After the circumstances of the incident were uncovered, the girl was sent to a family children's home, and then transferred to the care of her mother.
She is currently receiving medical, psychological and social assistance.
On July 24, the court issued a verdict against the father. He was found guilty under Rape charge and was handed 12 years in prison.
