President of Uzbekistan and Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Shavkat Mirziyoyev inspected the Special Operations Forces training ground in the Tashkent province, the presidential press service said.
Reportedly, this new training ground was created taking into account international experience and modern trends in troop training, the statement noted.
The training ground facilities have been designed to improve combat skills and effectively train personnel, as well as enhance their morale and psychological resilience.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev familiarized himself with new combat and special training methods and observed the active phase of the Armed Forces exercise.
During the exercise, units from various branches of the armed forces demonstrated the use of unmanned aerial vehicles in various combat operations, as well as joint actions by airborne troops, artillery, aviation, air defense, and ground forces.
The president commended the readiness of the units and the level of coordination in their joint operations, the statement said.
In a conversation with the Armed Forces command staff, Shavkat Mirziyoyev emphasized that in these turbulent times, when security threats were increasing globally, strengthening the potential of the Armed Forces, as well as ensuring the unity of the people and the army, and instilling in young people a spirit of patriotism, must form the basis of ongoing military reforms.
