The administrative liability for losing an international passport or ID card could be reviewed as per the presidential decree aimed at improving governmental services and creating additional conveniences for citizens.

While, proposals to implement relevant amendments and additions to current legislation must be developed within three months. Among these is the reconsideration of administrative penalties in cases involving the loss of a international passport, ID card, or residence permit.

The decree emphasizes that these proposals are aimed at simplifying the process of reissuing citizen documents and making governmental services much more user-friendly.

Furthermore, the document outlines measures to digitize governmental services, automatically update information on ID cards and other identification documents when personal data changes, and launch new services via the Single Portal of Interactive Governmental Services (My.gov.uz).

In addition, a series of innovations aimed at streamlining legal procedures in real estate registration, notary services, electronic government applications, and the advertising sector are scheduled for implementation under the scope of this decree.
