A presidential signed a Steps to Improve Public Service Delivery and Create Additional Conveniences for Individuals decree. The document focuses on streamlining public services, cutting unnecessary bureaucratic red tape, and expanding digital solutions.

In accordance with the decree, the procedures for the state registration of real estate rights will be overhauled starting January 1, 2027. Additionally, administrative liability for failing to register property rights within designated deadlines will be eased under certain circumstances, and new tax reliefs will be introduced for selling residential properties acquired through inheritance or gifts.

The capabilities of the Single Portal of Interactive Governmental Services (My.gov.uz) will also be expanded, allowing users to access comprehensive information regarding property liens, mobile numbers registered under their name (along with any linked premium paid services), and active bank cards. A system to send automated notifications to citizens regarding relevant notarial actions will be launched as well.

The decree introduces strict new regulations for advertising. Notably, promotional phone calls and marketing SMS messages via mobile networks will be permitted exclusively if the citizen has provided advance consent. In addition, restrictions will be placed on broadcasting advertisements during nighttime hours.

Specific deadlines have been assigned to responsible ministries and government agencies to implement the mandates outlined in the document, with the overall coordination and oversight of their execution entrusted to the Prime Minister.

Earlier it was reported, starting October 1, 2026, whenever an individual changes their last name, first name, patronymic, or date of birth, these details will automatically update across all government information networks. This automation eliminates the need for citizens to gather repetitive paperwork or submit separate applications to various state departments.
