The first solo exhibition of the photjournalist and photographer Umida Akhmedova opened on Monday in Tashkent’s ZERO LINE gallery. It will last until the end of August.

The British Museum has helped to recover an important medieval Islamic artefact that surfaced in a London gallery after it was stolen from a monument in Uzbekistan.

At the Uzbekistan Museum of Art of was held a donating ceremony of a collection of paintings from Israel. The paintings have been donated to the museum as part of the international project- "Sun’s Earth: From Israel to Uzbekistan"

Starting from 2017 Uzbekistan's annual Hajj quota increased from 5200 to 7200, a statement of the Committee for Religious Affairs of Uzbekistan said.
