On August 7, while trying to save a drowning girl from Ukraine on the Kavatsite beach in Sozopol (Bulgaria), a 22-year-old national of Uzbekistan, Zh. M., died. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
The corpse of the deceased was pulled out from under large underwater rocks on August 9, where it was carried by strong waves, by rescue services of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Bulgaria.
Reportedly, the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul, together with the Honorary Consulate in Bulgaria, is taking measures to return the body of the deceased to his homeland.
